Our vision is to create a space for singles to meet in a safe and respectful space through live interaction. Our intention is to encourage open-minded, open-hearted, vulnerable, honest, kind and respectful behavior that is conducive to community and healthy relationship.

Our community is for conscious singles who are 45 years old or more and who live in California.

We recognize and acknowledge all gender identities and sexual preferences, and over time, we hope to create events based on specific sexual orientations and locations.

It is very important to make sure that all members are in alignment with our vision and values, and understand our expectations for behavior. This is how we can ensure that our community and events are safe and respectful.

Please review the guidelines below.

Relationship status:

The following statuses are welcomed
• Single
• Divorced
• Widowed
• Separated

The following relationship statuses are not eligible for membership:
• Married
• Partnered
• Those that are married or partnered and in an ethically non-monogamous relationship

Age:
• Singles who are 45 years old or greater
• Under 45 years may apply to the waiting list for a future community

Religious or Spiritual Affiliation:
• We welcome any belief system as long as you are respectful and accepting of other belief systems

Political Affiliation:
This is an apolitical community, and there will be no political discussions allowed in group forums. You are only permitted to discuss politics when speaking 1-1 with a potential friend or partner.

Guidelines for participating in Zoom events:
• You must be on camera in Zoom events
• You must be in a quiet place. (Participation while driving is not permitted.)
• Speaking up and sharing is always optional, but any shares within group calls must be:
– About yourself and your own experiences
– Apolitical
– Free of judgment of other people’s beliefs, race, appearance or any other aspect

Guidelines for participating in our Facebook Group:
• Your Facebook profile must display a recent profile photo
• Posts and comments must be:
– About yourself and your own experiences
– Apolitical
– Free of judgment of other people’s beliefs, race, appearance or any other aspect
– No spam or self-promotion

The following behaviors are grounds for either a warning or being removed and banned from the community:
• Any false information about your your relationship status, age, location, appearance or any other personal attribute
• Past felony convictions or or sex offenses that were not disclosed when you applied
• Harassment
• Abusive language of any kind, including profanity, vulgarity, racism and illegal activity.
• Hate Speech: any content that promotes or advocates for or condones racism, bigotry, hatred or violence against individuals or groups based on factors like (but not limited to) race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, disability, gender, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, appearance and body type, or political affiliation is not allowed.
• Spam
• Promotion or solicitation
• Nudity and sexual content
• Violence and physical harm
• Prostitution and trafficking: promoting or advocating for commercial sexual services, human trafficking or other non-consensual sexual acts is strictly prohibited and will result in being banned
• Scamming: attempting to get or use others’ private information for fraudulent or illegal activity may be banned

Consequences for Violating the Community Guidelines

In order to preserve a safe and respectful space, we reserve the right to remove and ban anyone from the community at any time for violations of these community guidelines. In this case, we will provide you with a written notice by email.

In some cases, we might choose to notify you of a violation and warn you that a subsequent violation will result in your being banned and removed.
